Construction Project Manager (Commercial/Industrial)
Summary
Responsible for management of DPDHL construction projects for the entire construction project lifecycle to ensure a building is ready on time, to budget and to the quality required. Construction Project Management includes renovations of or improvements to existing or acquired properties as well as larger scale ground up construction and overall coordination with Corporate Real Estate team. Acts as a single point of contact for all construction matters. Effectively manages all necessary third parties involved ensuring all standards and statutory requirements are met. Responsible for building business unit relationships, accurately setting and meeting expectations. Provide business partners with a proactive, knowledgeable point of contact and communicator for key real estate issues. Projects are sub-regional with single business unit scope.
Responsibilities

- Proposal preparation. Vendor coordination
- Reporting/communication. Thorough communication
- Project delivery/Project Management. On time, on budget completion
- Project specification. Inclusion of necessary project elements
- Managing expectations and Schedule management. Minimize business risks of construction
- Lead and Manage Construction Process as:
- Due Diligence
- Planning
- Scheduling
- Quality control
- Change orders
- Permitting
- Close-out
- Minimize change orders and added costs
- Achieve planned delivery dates
- Ensure receipt of specified product and expected quality
- Assist on project disposition and acquisition
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant Commercial/ Corporate Real Estate experience (Developer, Property Leasing Agencies, Brokers, large corporations In-House Real Estate Specialist)
- 1-2 years leadership experience (staff or vendor leadership)
- Relevant University Degree e.g. in Business, Architecture, Engineer, or Real Estate related field
- Membership in Professional Real Estate Institutions preferred, e.g. Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
